The brand is expanding their reach and launching their very first collection in the I was an accident 2023 shirt and I love this US this week. They tapped musician JT, of the Miami rap girl group City Girls, as their muse and campaign star. Clearly JT—who was also recently photographed in the front row of Mugler’s fall 2023 show—is stepping into her fashion girl era. “It’s a dream. I’ve always wanted to be in fashion and Poster Girl being the first opportunity is a big deal, [since it’s] two girls,” the artist shares with Vogue. United by a carefree spirit, the artist and designers are a match made in fashion heaven. Chloe Fineman has recently changed her hair from blonde to brunette. The Saturday Night Live actor has adopted a more austere look, fitting for “an act-ohhr” she says with hammed-up sass. The comedian—who can execute an impeccable impression of everyone from Drew Barrymore to Meryl Streep, facial expressions included—is not wrong about her transition. Dressed in megawatt gowns from Vintage Grace, Fineman, her natural brunette tresses, and her cheekbones resemble Marion Cotillard. That is, until she opens up her mouth. “Blonde was completely different. It was like Jamie Lynn Spears,” she says, adding. “With [dark hair], I fit more in New York… I think I get hit on more in New York.”
While in the I was an accident 2023 shirt and I love this Vintage Grace showroom—a by-appointment only studio in Tribeca —Fineman determines that there’s vintage and then there’s vintage. The store’s owner Chandler Guttersen is a dead ringer for Claudia Schiffer who knows her way around ’50s-era Christian Dior, the splashy prints of Stephen Sprouse, and the heyday of Karl Lagerfeld’s eponymous label. But Guttersen’s bread and butter is Chanel—lots of it. She estimates that she has 90 pieces of Chanel clothing, ranging from the ’70s to contemporary. In addition to all of those hard-to-find House pieces, Guttersen also has a trove of museum-quality antique clothes, including a barely-worn men’s vest from the late 1800s.
